• Registration is open to all players in all divisions ages 4 though 18. If your child will be in the Senior Division and/or playing high school softball/baseball, you still need to register at one of the registration dates to secure a spot on a team and avoid being placed on a waiting list.

LATE REGISTRATION

  • Registration cost will increase after February 4th to $75, $60, $40, $30 and $10.


  • On Saturday, February 4, 2012 registration will be held in the morning before Tryouts at OLLL from 8:00AM to 10:00AM.  After 10:00 AM REGISTRATION WILL BE CLOSED and registrations will be placed on a waiting list. No additional registration dates will be scheduled. Registration will be based on Player Agent availability. 

 

  • To avoid being placed on a waiting list, please register at one of the above dates.

 

  • Little League International requires that all leagues verify the child’s original birth certificate, 3 proofs of current residency and payment. Players are not registered until all the information has been received. Only the parent or court ordered legal guardian may sign any Little League documentation including registration and medical release form. You must bring a copy of the court order. This will affect ALL Tournament play. For information regarding the birth certificate please go to our website at www.playolll.org.

 

  • If you have moved out of the OLLL boundaries but would like to continue playing with OLLL, you must bring 3 proofs of the OL residency and 3 proofs of the current residency. A copy of the 3 proofs will be submitted with a waiver to District 2. The approval or denial of the waiver is solely the decision of District 2. For examples of the 3 proofs of residency please go to the Little League website at www.littleleague.org and click on Forms and Publications.

 

  • If you are interested in managing/coaching a team, you must submit a 2012 volunteer form and copy of your driver’s license by SATURDAY, JANUARY 21st. All documents must be received in order to be considered for a manager/coach position. Managers are appointed by the President then approved by the Board. Selection is not based on tenure. Coaches for the Minor, Major, Junior and Senior Divisions are appointed after Draft has been held. Coaches are not participants of Tryouts or Draft.

 

T-BALL PROGRAM

  • Teams will be separated in to age groups: 4 year olds only; 4 & 5 year olds; 5 year olds only; 5 & 6 year olds; and 6 year olds.

 

  • 4 year olds will not play on the same team with 6 year olds and will not play games against each other in games because of size difference, level of skill and attention span.

 

  • First year 5 year olds will be placed either on a 4 & 5 year old team or on a 5 year old only team.

 

  • Returning 5 year olds will be placed on a 5 year old only team or on a 5 & 6 year old team.

 

  • Teams will be all Girls Only and all Boys Only. The purpose is to prepare girls for softball and boys for baseball, which begins at the next level of play, Coach Pitch. It is not to discourage socialization.

 

  • If applicable, games will be played girls versus girls and boys versus boys.

 

  • Any team with 4 year olds will not have more than 8 players.

 

  • 5 year old only teams will not have more than 10 players.

 

  • Any team with 6 year olds will not have more than 10 players.

 

  • League Age 6 year olds who have fulfilled the Little League requirement of playing as a League Age 5 year old in the T-Ball Division in the previous season may request to play Coach Pitch Division, they must participate in a tryout to be scored by the Division Player Agent and at least 2 other League Officials, and meet the minimum score of 15 or higher. If the player does not score the minimum of15, he/she will stay in the T-Ball Division.

 

  • League Age 6 year olds who do not attend the scheduled Tryout void the request for Coach Pitch and will automatically return to T-Ball.

 

  • “Special requests” may be requested by the parent/court ordered legal guardian but are not guaranteed.

 

  • Little League International states that a child who is League Age 5 must play T-Ball before moving up to the next division. If your child played as a League Age 4 year-old last season and is now League Age 5, your child must play T-Ball this season.

 

COACH PITCH

  • Tryouts will be held for the Coach Pitch Division.  Teams will be organized by the Division Player Agent to ensure balance of the teams by age and skill level ability.

 

  • Coach Pitch is separated in to Coach Pitch Softball and Coach Pitch Baseball. Coach Pitch Divisions are not co-ed.

 

  • “Special requests” may be requested by the parent/court ordered legal guardian but are not guaranteed.

 

  • Coach Pitch players may request to be moved in to Minor Division however the player must attend Tryouts and score 15 out 20 points. If the player does not score at least 15 points, he/she will stay in the Coach Pitch Division.

 

MINORS, MAJORS AND JUNIORS

  • Returning players in the Major and Junior Divisions, who would like to remain on the same roster/team, must register by Saturday, February 4, 2012 by 10:00AM. If your child does not register by this date and time your child will be released from the roster and placed in to the draft.

 

  • If your child will remain in the Minor Player Pitch Division or if your child is moving up to the next Division he/she will need to attend at lease ONE Tryout in order to be All Star eligible.

 

  • Returning players in the Major and Junior Divisions who wish to release themselves from their team/roster must attend one Tryout. Junior Tryouts will be scheduled at a later date.

 

  • Players who are required to attend Tryouts but do not attend are placed on a team by the Player Agent after the Managers have selected players in the Draft process.

 

  • Tryout dates are scheduled.  More information will be given out at registration.

Tuesday, January 31st – Minor and Major Softball Only

Thursday, February 2nd – Minor and Major Baseball Only

Saturday, February 4th – Coach Pitch, Minor and Major Softball and Baseball

 

  • You may register your child on Tuesday, January 31st or Thursday, February 2nd, from 6:00-7:30pm however your child will attend Tryouts on Saturday, February 4th only.

 

  • If you would like your child to Tryout on Tuesday or Thursday, you must register by Saturday, January 21st.

 

  •  Only selected Board Members and approved Minor and Major Managers will participate in the Tryout and Draft process. Coach Pitch Managers will not participate in Tryouts.

 

  • To avoid paying the increase in registration and to avoid being placed on a waiting list, please register by Saturday, January 21st.

 

  • Juniors will begin play in April. Seniors will begin play in May. Your division Player Agent will contact you for Tryouts.
